Elmdale Care is looking for an exceptional Registered Manager to lead one of our established 3-bed children's homes in Nottingham (NG7).

As Elmdale Care continues to expand, there are genuine opportunities to progress into a Dual Registered Manager position, overseeing multiple homes with an enhanced salary and wider leadership responsibilities.
About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management and development of the home, ensuring children receive safe, nurturing and high-quality care in accordance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the Quality Standards.
You will lead by example, creating a positive culture where children can thrive, staff feel valued and high standards are consistently maintained.
Working alongside our experienced full-time Service Manager / Responsible Individual, you'll receive excellent operational support while maintaining the autonomy to manage and develop your home.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing effective leadership and management of the home.
- Promoting outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
- Ensuring full compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted requirements.
- Preparing for and leading Ofsted inspections.
- Developing, mentoring and supporting your staff team.
- Managing recruitment, supervision, training and performance.
- Building positive relationships with placing authorities, families and partner agencies.
- Monitoring quality assurance, safeguarding and risk management.
- Managing budgets and occupancy effectively.
- Driving continuous improvement throughout the service.
About You
We're looking for an experienced leader who is passionate about improving the lives of children and young people.
You will have:
- Experience as a Registered Manager within children's residential care.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
- Excellent knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
- A positive, resilient and child-focused approach.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
