Office Admin
Putting our patients and clients first our office team are the first point of contact to ensure patients being discharged from hospital receive responsive and individualised care.
We require people who can demonstrate excellent and professional communication skills and who can commit to working set shifts covering 365 days of the year.
You will be responsible for answering the phone and taking bookings from clients requesting ambulance transfers for their patients or service users. You will calculate and issue quotes, ensure signed agreements are received and an appropriate crew assigned to the job.
You will also undertake scanning and filing of paperwork on to computer systems , assist in the completion of audits and the production of monthly metrics.
Aside from administrative duties you will assist crews, ensuring they have adequate PPE and other stock items on the vehicle prior to shift plus any other duties of a similar nature.
The ability to use email, Word and Excel is also important to us. You will need to use your own initiative as you will be working unsupervised for a period of the shift.
Our ideal candidate will be both numerate and literate, with excellent verbal communication skills.
The position has a set shift pattern of 2 early shifts (07:30-13:30), followed by 2 shifts off, followed by 2 late shifts (13:00-20:00).
