Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bar Manager to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests enjoy their experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a well established Manchester wet lead institution.
Previous bar experience and strong time management abilities is essential, along with a solid understanding of classic cocktails and modern techniques used in drink development.
Responsibilities
- To complete daily administration, cashing up and banking procedures where necessary.
- Ensure company standards, specifications, presentation and procedures are understood by all staff, and adhered to at all times.
- Oversee a training and development plan for bar staff and ensure it is an ongoing, frequent procedure.
- Helping with menu development with our signature serves and being encouraged to enter cocktail competitions and attend networking events.
What we are looking for
- Experience in hospitality or serving roles, preferably within a restaurant or bar setting with knowledge of classic cocktails is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour
- A personable attitude with a genuine enthusiasm for providing outstanding customer experiences
