Main Purpose of the Job
The SAP Business One (SAP B1) Onsite Support Consultant is responsible for providing First-Line support to SAP B1 users. This role ensures smooth daily ERP operations, resolves user issues, supports business processes, and collaborates with technical teams on system enhancements and improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for SAP B1 and BEAS user queries
(Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Boms, Production, Service).
- Manage user accounts, authorizations, and role assignments.
- Troubleshoot system issues and resolve support tickets within SLAs.
- Manage user access, authorisations, and system configurations.
- Develop reports (SQL / Crystal Reports preferred).
- Support system upgrades, testing, and process improvements.
- Maintain system documentation, user guides, and SOPs.
- Coordinate with external SAP partners.
Training And User Guidence
- Conduct end-user training sessions.
- Provide onboarding training for new employees.
- Promote best practices in SAP B1 usage.
- Learn from senior analysts and team members
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field
Proven Skills
- 2+ years of hands-on SAP B1 support experience.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing business processes.
- Basic SQL knowledge (MS SQL / HANA).
Preferred:
Knowledge of SAP B1, add-ons and integrations.
