Key Responsibilities/what they’ll be doing (no more than 100 words)
Lead Health, Safety and Wellbeing across the region, providing visible leadership, developing teams and advising senior leaders to strengthen governance, compliance and performance. Ensure legal compliance, effective risk management, auditing, assurance and consistent application of standards across contracts. Drive an incident-free culture by reducing injuries, environmental impacts and operational risks, while promoting wellbeing, sustainability and continuous improvement. Monitor performance, analyse trends and provide actionable insights to leaders and clients. Build strong relationships with clients, regulators and operational teams. Lead incident investigations, share learning and manage escalations. As a people leader, develop capability, champion inclusion, lead change and role model company values.
What they’ll bring – Key skills, qualifications and experience (no more than 75 words)
Brings and develops strong SHEQ/HSW leadership across multi-site operations, providing visible, values-led leadership and leading high-performing teams. Influences senior stakeholders, drives improvement through robust investigation, data analysis and reporting, and manages competing priorities with resilience and autonomy. Holds a NEBOSH Diploma/NVQ Level 6 (or equivalent) and CMIOSH (or working towards). Additional strengths include auditing, ISO management systems, wellbeing, infrastructure experience, digital platforms, and a flexible, results-driven approach.
