Contract basis New-Build Surveyor (P/T or F/T)

We are recruiting for a residential new-build property surveyor as contractor to operate in Nottingham and surrounding areas. We are strictly looking for a candidate with a RICS-accredited qualification (e.g. Building Surveying degree or SAVA course) either completed or soon to be completed.
As a home-based role working as a contractor, you'll enjoy the flexibility of not being tied to a traditional office environment: Each day will bring a different site for inspection, providing you with a varied and exciting work experience.
There is flexibility for the role to be a Part Time or Full Time commitment and there is the option to take on work at the weekend if preferable. This is something that will be discussed more in the interview.
- Conduct thorough snagging surveys using our bespoke apps, inspecting various aspects of the property's quality of finish, from brickwork to plumbing.
- Communicate with upcoming clients to confirm arrival times and promptly answer any queries from existing clients.
- A recognised qualification in building surveying such as BSc/MSc/SAVA level 6 or a similar level of building surveying qualification.
- Candidates at the end of their studies will also be considered.
- Strong attention to detail and a diligent work ethic.
- Familiarity with building regulations and NHBC tolerances is advantageous.
- Experience using an app for issue management is preferred.
- Pay per Survey (uncapped): tiered depending on property size. To be explained in interview / upon job offer to the right candidate
- Flexible working hours with a home-based setup.
