Milex Engineering are an Industrial Door Engineering Company who are currently looking for a door service engineer to join our fleet based in Corby, Northamptonshire.
The role:
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with customers on-site, providing a professional and courteous service.
- Carry out routine maintenance and servicing of equipment.
- Complete all required administrative tasks accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Attend and successfully complete company training courses and skills assessments.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Works Manager.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain a clean and professional working environment and company vehicle (where applicable).
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Previous experience completing administrative tasks as part of your day-to-day role.
- Good mechanical aptitude and practical engineering skills.
- A full, valid UK driving licence.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
- Excellent time management and punctuality.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary of £25,000–£30,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
- 20 days' annual leave, plus Bank Holidays.
