Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements in a courteous manner
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximise guest satisfaction and revenue
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during service and food preparation
- Clear tables promptly and assist with the organisation of the dining area for subsequent guests
- Handle guest queries professionally, providing information about menu options and restaurant services
- Assist in setting up tables, cleaning workstations, and maintaining a tidy environment throughout shifts
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth service flow
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation skills are advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Ability to deliver outstanding guest service with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling bills, payments, and order calculations
- Experience in serving, upselling, or culinary roles is desirable but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work during busy periods, including evenings and weekends as required
- A genuine passion for hospitality, teamwork, and creating positive guest experiences
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
