Join our dynamic team as a Ground Screw Installation Operative, where you will play a vital role in the installation of ground screws used for supporting various structures such as solar panels, fencing, and signage. This energetic position involves operating specialized machinery, working outdoors in diverse weather conditions, and ensuring precise and safe installation processes. Responsibilities
- Operate ground screw installation machinery safely and efficiently to drive screws into various terrains
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing and leveling ground surfaces before installation
- Follow detailed instructions and technical specifications to ensure accurate placement of ground screws
- Conduct safety checks on equipment prior to use and adhere to all health and safety regulations throughout the workday
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate installation schedules and complete projects on time
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding progress, issues, or hazards encountered on-site
- Keep accurate records of installations completed, including measurements and site conditions
Experience
- Previous experience in construction, groundwork, or outdoor manual labor is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to operate power tools and machinery related to ground screw installation safely and responsibly
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and physical environments
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols and quality standards
- Good teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills and tasks
