We are currently looking to employ a Second Chef to help assist our chef on a daily basis and cover days off.
Experience necessary, as 90% of our menu is homemade and prepared on site we require minimum level 3.
Duties to include:
- Lone working
- Preparation and cooking of food
- Initial training and guidance from the chef on the preparation, cooking and plating of our menu
- Following company and government policies and procedures for a safe working environment
- Accepting, checking and stock rotation of deliveries
- Adhering to 'clean as you go' working system to ensure the kitchen remains clean and tidy at all times
After an initial period of working alongside the chef, you will, on occasion be working alone the kitchen and be responsible for all duties undertaken by the chef.
Hourly rate negotiable for the right candidate
