About the Role
Are you an experienced Care Coordinator or Senior Care Worker looking for your next challenge?
Apollo Care is looking for a dedicated, organised, and compassionate Care Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a key role within our service and an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about delivering exceptional care.
As a Care Coordinator, you will be at the centre of our operations, ensuring care visits are effectively planned and delivered, supporting our care teams, and helping to ensure our clients receive the highest standards of care and support.
No two days are the same. You'll need to be able to think ahead, adapt quickly to changing circumstances, communicate effectively, and remain calm under pressure while maintaining a person-centred approach at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing and managing staff rotas
- Coordinating care services to meet the needs of clients
- Scheduling care visits and ensuring continuity of care
- Supporting and communicating with care staff
- Monitoring service delivery and maintaining high standards of care
- Responding promptly to changes, emergencies, and operational challenges
- Working closely with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and the wider team
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the service
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within Health and Social Care in a similar role
- Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards achieving this qualification
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- Flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach to work
- Good IT skills and confidence using care management systems
- Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
Working Pattern
Shifts will vary between:
- 7:00am – 3:30pm
- 8:30am – 5:00pm One evening on-call shift per week (£30.00 allowance) Weekend on-call rota of 1 in every 6 weekends (£30.00 allowance) Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the service
