Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service and a high-quality dining experience for our guests. You will play a crucial role in managing staff, maintaining standards of food & drink production, and fostering a positive work environment.
Duties
- Assist in the management of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
- Supervise and train staff, ensuring adherence to service standards and company policies.
- Help with scheduling shifts and managing team performance to optimise productivity.
- Oversee food production processes in the kitchen to ensure quality and presentation meet established standards.
- Collaborate with the bar & culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management within a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Proficient in culinary practices, including food production techniques and kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of bartending practices is necessary for assisting with beverage service.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers alike.
- Ability to supervise multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.
Required:
- Valid Personal License
- Min 3 years experience of Managing a Restaurant & Bar setting.
- Min 2 years experience of working in a late night bar venue.
