As a Massage Therapist at Restore, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive client experience while providing personalised treatments that support relaxation, recovery and overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional, high-quality massage treatments tailored to each client's individual needs and preferences.
- Provide a range of massage techniques, such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports and relaxation massage.
- Consult with clients before treatment to understand their needs, goals and any relevant medical considerations.
- Ensure treatments are delivered safely, professionally and in accordance with appropriate industry standards.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic and welcoming treatment room before, during and after each appointment.
- Provide clients with appropriate aftercare advice, including stretches, hydration and general recovery guidance where suitable.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience and build positive relationships with clients.
- Maintain accurate treatment notes and respect client confidentiality at all times.
- Identify and communicate any concerns or contraindications appropriately before treatment.
- Keep up to date with relevant massage techniques, industry standards and professional development.
- Work as part of the wider Restore team and contribute to the positive atmosphere and reputation of the business.
Requirements
- Recognised and relevant Massage Therapy qualification/certification.
- Professional experience delivering massage treatments.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and massage contraindications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional, friendly and approachable manner.
- Strong attention to hygiene, cleanliness and client safety.
- Ability to tailor treatments to different clients and their individual requirements.
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards and client confidentiality.
- Reliable, punctual and well presented.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends where required.
- A genuine passion for health, wellness, recovery and helping people feel their best.
