Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking full-time team member to join our busy burger outlet based in a food court in Ilford.
Duties
- Carry out high-quality food preparation to consistently excellent standards
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen in line with food safety regulations
- Prepare and cook customer orders efficiently as they are received
- Accurately prepare and present orders in a timely manner
- Take customer orders in a courteous, professional, and friendly manner
- Operate the till system confidently and accurately
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly after use
- Assist with stock control by organising supplies and informing management of inventory requirements
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Basic understanding of meal preparation and food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Friendly attitude with excellent communication skills for serving guests and working as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including weekends if necessary
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
