About Oakland
At Oakland, we help businesses unlock the power of their data. Whether it's data strategy, governance, engineering, analytics, or AI, we work with our clients to turn data into real, impactful results.
We meet high standards for social and environmental impact, transparency, and accountability. We believe businesses should be a force for good, so we make sure our decisions don't just benefit the bottom line but also our people, communities, and the planet.
And it's not just us saying we're a great place to work. We were recently named a Top 5 Best Consultancy to work for in the UK through Best Companies. We're all about creating an environment where people can grow, do meaningful work, and enjoy the journey.
How We Work with National Security
We have a growing team that supports National Security through the development, operation and support of engineering capabilities that help keep the UK and its allies safe.
This is a unique opportunity to start your Engineering career in a challenging and rewarding environment, working alongside experienced Engineers on meaningful projects that make a real-world impact.
About the job
As an Entry-Level Technical Advisory Consultant, you'll join our Oakland Futures program, and eventually our National Security team.
You'll have the opportunity to learn modern engineering practices, gain exposure to a wide range of technologies, and contribute to projects that support critical national missions. We don't expect you to know everything from day one. Instead, we're looking for curious, motivated individuals with a passion for technology and a willingness to learn.
From your first day, you'll receive comprehensive training and support from experienced Engineers and Architects across our wider technical and consulting community. Through mentoring, training, and hands-on project work, we'll help you develop the skills and confidence needed to progress your career.
You'll also have opportunities to contribute to internal initiatives, technical communities, and learning activities as you grow within the business.
