The Town House Dental Practice in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Part-Time Dental Receptionist to join our welcoming team, for two-three days a week.
We are a fully private, independent dental practice with two modern surgeries, offering high-quality patient care in a relaxed and professional environment. Our practice is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and is committed to providing an exceptional experience for every patient.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with reception, customer service, or administrative experience who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering outstanding service. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice and creating a warm, welcoming experience for our patients.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Manage appointment bookings, rescheduling, and cancellations efficiently
- Answer telephone calls promptly and assist with patient enquiries
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required
- Handle administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Process payments and assist with billing procedures
- Ensure the reception area remains clean, organised, and welcoming
- Liaise with clinicians and support the dental team with administrative duties
- Help maintain the high standards of patient care and customer service for which the practice is known
Experience and Skills
- Must have previous experience in a dental practice.
- Experience within a dental or healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Friendly, professional, and approachable manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and practice management software
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional patient care
