We are looking for an experienced Production Senior Lead to provide leadership across our production function, driving operational performance, developing high performing teams and ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage production resources, workforce planning and operational performance to ensure customer commitments and manufacturing schedules are consistently achieved.
- Champion Health & Safety, Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste and optimise operational performance.
- Monitor KPIs, analyse production performance and implement corrective actions to improve quality, cost, delivery and labour efficiency.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Planning and Supply Chain teams to support new product introductions, resolve operational challenges and drive business objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Previous leadership experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Engineering or manufacturing qualification (NVQ Level 4, HNC or equivalent) or relevant industry experience.
- Strong leadership, organisational and people management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coach, develop and motivate teams.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Health & Safety and continuous improvement methodologies.
