Dental Hygienist / Therapist
Independent Private Practice – Helston
Life is better when you smile.
At Angel Dental, that belief guides how we care for patients and how we work together as a team.
We know oral health affects far more than teeth. It shapes confidence, comfort, and how people show up in everyday life. Our role is to guide patients through a calm, respectful journey — from uncertainty to understanding, and from discomfort to confidence.
We’re an established independent private practice in Helston, with a strong maintenance-based patient list, and we’re looking to welcome a GDC-registered Dental Hygienist / Therapist who wants to work at full scope and be part of a thoughtful, supportive clinical environment.
What working at Angel Dental feels like
- You will work with 40-minute hygiene appointments, allowing time to do the job properly
- You will be supported by a chairside and administrative team who value joined-up care
- Airflow polishing is available
- Around 70% of our patients are on a maintenance plan, supporting continuity and prevention
- You will be encouraged to use your full scope of practice, including direct access
Patients often arrive feeling nervous or unsure. As a team, we focus on creating trust quickly, explaining clearly, and helping people feel at ease — without rushing or pressure.
How we work as a team
We aim to be a calm, respectful practice where:
- People treat the whole person, not just the clinical need
- Communication is clear and supportive
- Decisions are made with the patient journey in mind
- Everyone understands their role in delivering a joined-up experience
We believe good dentistry comes from trust, clarity and teamwork — especially when things are busy.
How we work with clinicians
We recognise hygienists and therapists as clinicians in their own right.
Whether you work on an employed or self-employed basis, our aim is to create a professional relationship built on:
- Respect for clinical judgement
- Clear expectations and boundaries
- Support without micromanagement
- A calm, organised working environment
You should feel trusted to do your job well and supported when you need it.
