Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team at a bustling café in . As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our customers. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the cleanliness of the café, and assisting with food preparation.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee-based beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate coffee brewing equipment, espresso machines, and other café equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including cleaning tables, counters, and equipment
-Operating the dishwasher
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of customers and staff
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is required
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee beans is an asset
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on providing exceptional guest services
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a kitchen or restaurant setting
