Job description
We currently have vacancies for a HGV Class 1 driver working Days or Nights.
The position we have is Monday to Friday.
The role is based at our Heywood depot and is a permanent role.
Archbold is a family-owned business over 100 years’ old.
We generally carry light, clean product.
Interaction with the traffic team is key and we pride ourselves on good driver/traffic relations.
Successful candidates must have the following:
- Class 1 Licence (CAT C+E) with less than 6 points – No DR, DD or IN codes
- Drivers Licence (photo card)
- Digital Tachograph card
- Driver Qualification card (CPC)
- Ability to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism.
You will need to ensure all documentation is accurately completed, adhere to safe working practices, and have a flexible approach to your work pattern as dictated by customer/operational requirements as well as complying with all legislation in line with Driver Hours and Working Time Directive.
Remuneration package includes
Weekly Salary £745 for Monday to Friday based on a 48 hour working week (£14.50ph). – includes a weekly bonus of £48
Average weekly earnings – based on 9 hours overtime per week – £890 (Monday to Friday). – includes a weekly bonus of £48
You will receive the £48 weekly bonus for completing 4 simple daily tasks that include daily walk round checks and communicating with the Depot, full attendance and driving in a safe manner.
Monday to Friday - £14.50ph
Overtime - £16.00ph
Saturday rate £19.15ph
Sunday rate £23.30ph
Night allowance is £15.00 per night
Night out allowance is £26.20 per night
