Overview
Join our friendly healthcare team as a Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in promoting optimal oral health and patient well-being. In this caring position, you will deliver exceptional preventive dental care, educate patients on oral hygiene practices, and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Your expertise will help create a comfortable, positive experience for every patient while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.
1 session per week on Thursdays 9-1. with qualified dental nurse support.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment notes, medical histories, and imaging results
- Monitor patient comfort during procedures and provide reassurance to anxious patients
- Support infection control protocols with the assistance of a qualified dental nurse.
Experience
- Qualified and experience as a Dental Hygienist you must be GDC registered.
- Knowledge of anatomy related to oral structures and dental tissues to accurately assess patient conditions
- Experience with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry, including radiography procedures
- Strong understanding of infection control practices and sterilization standards in healthcare settings
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about oral health maintenance

Pay: £40.00-£46.00 per hour
