Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Complex Healthcare Assistant to join our team in the TN27 area.
Working Hours: 07.00am to19.00pm x 2 & 19.00pm to 07.00am x 2
PAY: £12.71
DUE TO THE CLIENT REQUIREMENTS A FEMALE HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT IS REQUIRED.
MUST DRIVE
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care to clients in their homes, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Assist clients with daily activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and medication management.
- Follow care plans accurately and report any changes or concerns.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Support clients’ emotional well-being through empathetic engagement.
- Document care activities diligently in accordance with company policies.
- Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Healthcare Assistant or similar role.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Valid driving license and ability to travel between client locations.
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of neurological conditions is desirable but not essential.
- Call-To-Action if/ when needed.
Clinical Skills required: (training can be provided)
- Late Infantile Batten Disease experience
- Variant CLNZ,
- Non-Verbal,
- Seizures,
- Scoliosis,
- Contractures,
- Supapubic Catheter & Risk of Aspiraton.
- Tracheostomy experience.
