We are looking for a general Labourer to join our in-house team to support a project to deliver 8 new homes in Woodnesborough, Kent, along with other projects.
This position will initially be a temporary contract role for 3 months, based on a day rate of £100-£110 per day depending on experience.

The role
Reporting to the Site Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting our High-performing Site Team and Groundworks Team top help deliver all labouring and groundworks activities for the project.
This role gives the opportunity for candidates to learn all aspects of Groundworks and Civil Engineering activities from a high-performing team on a modern construction site, with opportunity to progress in to a Groundworks role within the team.
Your responsibilities will include but are not be limited to:
- Site preparation and clearing
- Responsible for traffic management onsite 'Banksman'
- Responsible to keep site tidy and clean
- Organising and preparing of materials and tools around site
- Preparing and mixing of concrete and mortar
- Support with the preparation, excavation and installation of various types of drainage include concrete and plastic systems as well as deep drainage
- Support with the preparation, excavation and installation of a variety of foundation systems including strip and slab foundations
- Support with the installation of road and driveway sub-structures
- Support with the installation of kerbs and edgings
- Support with the finishing groundworks including patios, block paving and tarmac
- Safely excavating trenches and ditches, and moving soils and aggregates around sites
- Opportunity to operate a variety of plant machinery and vehicles, such as, Excavators, Dumpers, Rollers, Telehandlers, etc.
- Adhering to relevant Health & Safety procedures and risk management

- Ideally have experience in a similar labouring position on a construction site
- Must hold a valid CSCS / CPCS card or will be required to obtain one within the first month of the job
- Candidates must have their own means of transport to get to / from the site
NOTE: Payments for this role will be made bi-weekly on receipt of an invoice
