Job Summary
Violet Galaxy Logistics is seeking motivated and reliable Self-Employed Owner Drivers to join our expanding UK subcontractor network. This role requires operating your own MWB/LWB panel van or 3.5t Luton vehicle to handle nationwide dispatches efficiently and safely.
As an integral part of our network, you will manage your own availability while executing long-distance and express freight runs—primarily operating during afternoon and evening hours. This is an ideal, high-flexibility opportunity for professional drivers looking for consistent contract work or profitable backloads to monetize empty runs.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate your own MWB/LWB panel van or 3.5t Luton van to complete scheduled nationwide deliveries and collections.
- Execute afternoon and evening dispatches with high punctuality and attention to delivery deadlines.
- Handle customer freight with care, ensuring secure loading, transit, and unloading at destination points.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch via WhatsApp regarding ETAs and job progress.
- Capture clear Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation signed by recipients and submit photos instantly via WhatsApp.
- Ensure your vehicle maintains full roadworthiness, valid commercial insurance, and safety compliance at all times.
- Uphold professional customer service and transport standards when representing Violet Galaxy on the road.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Vehicle: Must own or lease a compliant MWB/LWB Panel Van or 3.5t Luton Van (Tail Lift preferred).
- Licence & Compliance: Full UK Driving Licence, valid Courier / Hire & Reward Insurance, and Goods in Transit (GIT) cover.
- Availability: Available for flexible, on-demand dispatch work, particularly across afternoon and evening hours.
- Experience: Proven commercial driving experience and ability to execute long-distance UK runs independently.
Pay: £150.00-£250.00 per day
