Responsibilities
- Provide personalised support to adults, assisting with daily activities and developmental needs
- Foster a safe, nurturing environment that encourages learning and confidence
- Assist with organising educational activities, life skills and social interactions
- Support adults in developing social skills and independence through guidance
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure the best outcomes for each person
- Maintain accurate records of progress and any concerns relating to the persons well-being
- Promote positive behaviour management strategies in line with organisational policies
Skills
- Experience working with vulnerable groups is highly desirable, demonstrating patience and understanding
- Strong mentoring skills, capable of inspiring confidence and independence
- Teaching abilities that facilitate engaging community based activities tailored to individual needs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with young adults and families
- Organised and reliable, with a genuine passion for supporting development
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team within a caring environment

Pay: £24,420.00-£28,400.00 per year
