We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to complete a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification alongside hands-on experience in our nursery.
- Duration: 12–18 months
- Hours: Full-time or part-time (3–4 days per week)
- Start: Immediate start available

Mini VIP’s Nursery & Daycare is a friendly, family-run setting in Winchcombe, providing high-quality childcare for children aged 3 months to 12 years.

Your Apprenticeship Journey
As an Apprentice, you will earn while you learn, developing both practical skills and knowledge through:
- On-the-job training in our nursery
- Off-the-job study time (minimum 20%)
- Support from our training provider
- Regular reviews and guidance from your mentor/room leaders
You will work towards your qualification while gaining real experience across different age groups.
What You’ll Learn and Do
With our support, you will learn to:
- Care for and support children’s development and wellbeing
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Help plan and deliver fun, engaging activities
- Observe and record children’s learning and progress
- Promote safeguarding, safety and positive behaviour
- Support daily routines, hygiene and organisation
- Work across different rooms including Babies, Toddlers, Pre-School and SEND
- Assist with Wrap Around Care and Holiday Club
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- Warm, caring and enthusiastic about working with children
- Reliable, organised and willing to learn
- Creative and able to use initiative
- A good communicator
- Able to work as part of a team
No previous qualification is required – full training will be provided.
Additional Training Opportunities (Desirable)
You may also have the opportunity to complete:
- Paediatric First Aid
- Safeguarding Children Level 2
- Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2
