We are looking for an AC Improver to join our team on a hotel project in Telford, Shropshire, working alongside experienced engineers on 1st fix installation.
The Role – 1st Fix Installation
- Assisting with installation of containment (trunking, tray, brackets, hangers)
- Supporting refrigerant pipework installation and preparation
- Assisting with cabling and control wiring pulls
- Setting out and installing unit brackets and supports
- Material handling, site set-up and keeping work areas clean and safe
- Learning on the job under supervision of qualified AC engineers
Requirements
- Some previous experience in air conditioning, mechanical or ductwork installation
- Willingness to learn and progress towards a fully qualified engineer role
- Ability to work from basic drawings (training given)
- CSCS card (essential)
- F-Gas (advantageous, not essential)
- IPAF / PASMA
- Own hand tools
- Good work ethic and reliable timekeeping
- Right to work in the UK
