We are a multi-disciplined, chartered construction company delivering high-quality works across the residential sector. Our services include full property renovations, gas and heating systems, electrical installations, renewable energy solutions, including air source heat pumps and solar PV/battery storage, and general maintenance.
Following the award of a number of major contracts, we are looking for an experienced Commercial Cleaner to join our team on a self-employed basis to support a large-scale programme of refurbishment works within void residential properties.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out builders' cleans, sparkle cleans and final cleans to void properties following refurbishment works, ensuring each property is presented to the highest standard ready for handover.
The role requires a reliable, hardworking individual with previous experience working within construction environments and void properties.
All works will be based across the Flintshire area.
Key Responsibilities
Typical duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Carrying out builders' cleans following refurbishment and maintenance works
- Completing final sparkle cleans prior to property handover
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, windows (internal), flooring, skirting boards, doors and all internal surfaces
- Removing construction dust, debris and residue from refurbishment works
- Cleaning and sanitising all fixtures, fittings and appliances
- Ensuring properties are presented to a high standard and ready for occupation
- Identifying and reporting any defects or unfinished works to the site supervisor
- Following all health & safety procedures whilst working on active construction sites
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and ensuring safe use of cleaning products
- Working independently to complete cleans within agreed timescales
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' commercial cleaning experience
- Proven experience working on building sites and void residential properties (Preferred)
- Experience carrying out builders' cleans and final cleans
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own vehicle to travel between sites
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
- Good understanding of health & safety requirements on construction sites
