We are currently recruiting Waking Night Residential Support Workers to join our team at our newly renovated 3-bed residential children’s home in Fleetwood.

The Role
As a Waking Night Residential Support Worker, you will support young people throughout the night, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and emotional needs are met in line with their care plans.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment overnight
- Encouraging healthy sleep routines and night-time wellbeing
- Completing regular safety and welfare checks
- Supporting young people with medical needs (where required)
- Recording and reporting accurately using company systems
- Completing domestic duties as required
- Supporting young people who display challenging behaviour using approved techniques
- Acting as a positive role model and building trusting relationships
Safeguarding Responsibilities
You will be expected to:
- Remain vigilant at all times to protect young people from abuse or harm
- Follow safeguarding policies and report concerns immediately
- Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
Essential Criteria
- Right to work in the UK
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a residential children’s home
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- QCF Level 3 or 4 Residential Childcare
- NVQ Level 3 Children & Young People (or equivalent)
