Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities
1. Wellbeing Planning & Delivery
- Create and implement individualised activity plans in line with residents' interests, life history, needs, and preferences.
- Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly group and one-to-one activities, ensuring variety and inclusivity.
- Promote mental stimulation, mobility, creativity, and social interaction.
2. Resident Engagement
- Build positive relationships with residents, understanding their past lives, hobbies, values, and communication styles.
- Encourage resident involvement in planning and choosing activities.
- Support residents to continue or rediscover personal interests, hobbies, and routines.
3. Community and Family Involvement
- Liaise with family and friends to gather background information and encourage participation.
- Foster links with local schools, charities, volunteers, and organisations for community engagement.
- Organise trips, events, and celebrations that include visitors and external entertainers.
4. Recording and Evaluation
- Maintain accurate and timely records of participation, preferences, and outcomes.
- Evaluate and adjust activities based on resident feedback and care team observations.
- Contribute to care planning with wellbeing-related input.
5. Teamwork and Culture
- Work collaboratively with care staff to embed wellbeing into daily routines.
- Promote a positive, caring atmosphere within the home.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.
This job is for 24 hours a week , part time, on a rota basis. Needs to be flexible with days and times.
We do not offer sponships as we dont have facilities to do so.
Pay: £13.00 per hour
