We are currently seeking skilled Joiners to join our team for a couple of temporary projects in Wigan and Levenshulme greater manchester areas, if successful we have other projects in the area in the pipeline so there is an opportunity to access additional project works
Job Overview
As a Joiner, you will play a vital role in constructing, installing, stud walls, kitchens, architraves, stair cases, plasterboards, doors and other general joinery works etc
Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wooden frameworks, fixtures, and fittings , preferably having most of your own tools, although some tools can be provided if needed.
- Read and interpret drawings, and work on your own initiative
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate construction activities where necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite by managing tools and materials efficiently
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to prevent accidents
Requirements
- Proven experience in joinery works
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools,
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively throughout the workday
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site transportation needs
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations within the construction industry
- Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and adapt to project demands potentially across a couple of sites
Pay: £220.00-£240.00 per day
