Practice Nurse (NMC Registered)
Location: Grove House Surgery, Bognor Regis (Rose Green & Pagham Branch)
Grove House Surgery is looking for a friendly, motivated and versatile Practice Nurse to join our supportive and welcoming team. We are a two-site practice caring for approximately 11,100 patients, with a strong multidisciplinary team and a positive working environment.
The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of primary care services including chronic disease management, immunisations, health promotion, wound care and diagnostic assessments.
Key Responsibilities
General Clinical Duties
- Provide high-quality nursing care including BP checks, urinalysis, phlebotomy, ECGs and sample collection.
- Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses and the wider MDT to assess, diagnose and manage patient health needs.
Chronic Disease Management
Experience and qualifications in chronic disease management (Diabetes, COPD, Asthma) is highly desirable.
- Conduct reviews and create comprehensive care plans.
- undertake clinical assessment, monitoring and follow-up
- Delivering health promotion and lifestyle advice
- Maintain patient registers and support care pathway development.
Immunisations & Vaccinations
- Deliver national childhood and adult immunisations.
- Provide travel vaccinations and advice.
- Support annual flu and mass vaccination campaigns.
Wound Care
- Provide wound management including leg ulcer care and compression bandaging.
- Liaise with community teams and tissue viability specialists.
- Supervise HCAs undertaking wound care.
Quality Improvement & Audit
- Participate in clinical audit and support quality improvement initiatives.
Administrative
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records using SystmOne.
- Support the practice in achieving KPIs, QOF targets and Locally Commissioned Service requirements.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience and qualification in chronic disease management (e.g Diabetes, COPD, Asthma)
- Cervical cytology
- Wound care including compression therapy

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience. range £20-£23.50 per hour
