About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Quality Engineer to own day-to-day QA delivery on a greenfield project. You will be embedded in the engineering team, working closely with developers and the Principal QA who leads the wider QA strategy and agentic automation programme across Reapit.
This is a hands-on role: you will plan, execute, and automate quality coverage (functional, API, accessibility, and Performance) across the full feature cycle using agentic technologies such as Claude Code or Github Copilot). You will help define quality gates that scale with the team.
What You'll Do:
Own end-to-end QA delivery for project deliverables
Raise the quality bar across the team — collaborate with engineers on testability, contribute to PR reviews, add quality gates in the CI/CD pipeline and help make quality everyone's responsibility
Exploratory testing, improve quality from the user’s perspective including UX and accessibility
Work alongside the Principal QA to evaluate and onboard agentic QA tooling as the organisation builds its AI-assisted quality capability
Extend and maintain the Playwright (TypeScript) E2E suite
Contribute to API test coverage for the platform API
Introduce and run performance testing (Lighthouse, K6) against key user journeys and API endpoints
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a modern web product team
Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) — confident and hands-on, able to build and maintain a mature test suite from scratch
Exposure to agentic development tools and an interest in how AI changes QA practice with use of Claude Code, Github Copilot or similar tech. Comfortable delegating suitable to tasks to agents, and focusing on the architecture of those agents
GitHub Actions — experience designing and maintaining test pipelines as part of a deployment workflow
Desirable:
Accessibility testing — automation, or understanding of open-source tools available in the industry
API testing — functional coverage of REST APIs, ideally including authentication flows (OAuth / token-based)
Experience with performance testing tools (Grafana K6, Lighthouse CLI)
Familiarity with Cloudflare Workers
