Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in an office/factory environment, ensuring that all areas are tidy, safe, and welcoming for staff and visitors. This role requires effective communication, a strong work ethic and a reliable and conscientious approach to your work.
Due to the location of the site it would be advantageous to have transport.
Reliability is critical to this role and you will be required to undergo a background DBS check.
Hours of work are 6*.00am to 10.00am (flexible), Monday to Friday. Total 20 hours* per week paid monthly.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, Toilets and communal spaces.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns.
Experience
- Previous experience in a commercial cleaning role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards is essential.
