Sales Manager – Xpeng
£30,000 basic salary | £50,000 OTE
Ready to build something?
Xpeng is one of the most exciting new names in electric mobility, bringing advanced technology, intelligent design and a growing range of vehicles to the UK market.
Our Xpeng dealership in Swindon opened in November last year and we're now looking for a Sales Manager with the drive, energy and commercial focus to help us take the next step.
This isn't a role for someone who simply wants to manage what's already there. It's an opportunity for someone who wants to build momentum, develop a team and grow a brand.
With new models joining the Xpeng range, including the forthcoming X9, there's plenty to get excited about – and we want someone who can turn that opportunity into results.
The role
Working closely with the Head of Business, you'll take a hands-on role in driving the performance and development of the Xpeng sales operation.
You'll lead, coach and motivate the sales team, set clear expectations and maintain a strong focus on activity, conversion, customer experience and profitability.
Just as importantly, you'll be looking beyond the day-to-day. You'll identify opportunities to raise the profile of Xpeng locally, generate new business, build relationships and make sure we're maximising every opportunity created by the expanding model range.
You'll work with the Head of Business to deliver sales and profitability objectives while maintaining high standards of customer service, compliance and manufacturer performance.
About you
We're looking for someone with strong automotive sales experience and, ideally, previous experience of leading or managing a sales team.
You'll be commercially driven, confident working with targets and performance data and, above all, proactive. You'll be someone who sees opportunity and goes after it, who enjoys developing people and who can bring energy and direction to a growing operation.
Experience of EVs or an emerging automotive brand would be useful, but it's not essential. What's more important is your ability to lead from the front, create momentum and get people – both your team and your customers – excited about what Xpeng has to offer.
If you're looking for a management role where you can genuinely make your mark rather than simply inherit an established operation, this could be the opportunity for you.
What we offer
Alongside a £30,000 basic salary with £50,000 OTE, you'll receive a company car and a great range of benefits, including 23 days' holiday rising to 27 days with service, plus bank holidays and birthday leave, pension contribution matching, life assurance, Health Cash Plan, enhanced family leave, staff discounts, employee Referral Bonuses and salary sacrifice Nursery and Cycle to Work schemes.
You'll also have the backing of Fish Brothers, an established family-owned dealer group with more than 75 years in the automotive industry, while having the opportunity to help develop one of the UK's newest automotive brands.
If you're excited by the challenge of growing a brand, developing a team and turning potential into performance, we'd love to hear from you.
