Job Title: Chef de Partie (CDP)
Location: Blackstone Tavern & Kitchen, The Moorcock Inn, Littleborough
Employment Type: Full-Time
(Approx 46 hours over 4 days, including weekends and evenings)

The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of dishes to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will be confident working under pressure in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining consistency, quality, and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- To be flexible, able to run a grill, fryer or starter station, ensuring timely delivery of all dishes
- Prepare and cook menu items to the highest quality and presentation standards
- Maintain strict hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times
- Take full responsibility for your own prep lists
, ensuring all ingredients are prepared and ready ahead of service
- Monitor stock levels at your station and proactively identify what needs to be ordered to complete all prep tasks efficiently
- Organise and maintain your station for smooth and efficient service, keeping it clean, well-stocked, and ready for peak periods
- Communicate with the kitchen team regarding stock needs or replenishment
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a busy kitchen
- Hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or equivalent)
- Solid experience running grill/fryer/starter stations and producing a range of dishes
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain high standards
- Passionate about preparing fresh, high-quality food
- Flexible approach to shifts, including weekends and evenings
