A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a practical, hands-on, and highly reliable Driver / Property All-Rounder to support a private principal and household on a part-time basis. Working three days per week, this varied role is ideal for someone who enjoys diversity in their work and is happy to turn their hand to a wide range of responsibilities.
This is not a traditional chauffeur position. Whilst driving duties form part of the role, the family are seeking someone who is equally comfortable assisting with property-related tasks, running errands, handling deliveries, caring for dogs, and supporting with general maintenance and practical projects as required. The successful candidate will be flexible, proactive, and happy to pitch in wherever needed to support the smooth running of the household.
The role would suit an individual with a background in property services, maintenance, facilities management, driving, or a trade who is looking for a stable and varied part-time opportunity. The family are flexible regarding which three days are worked each week and would welcome candidates who may already have another flexible part-time role.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
· Driving the principal and family members as required
· Dog handling, walking, and general pet care duties
· Running household errands and managing collections and deliveries
· Liaising with couriers and transporting items between locations
· Assisting with furniture moving and practical household tasks
· Carrying out basic handyman and maintenance duties
· Supporting property-related projects and ad hoc tasks
· Ensuring vehicles are maintained, clean, and ready for use
· Assisting with the general smooth running of the household
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
· Full, clean UK driving licence with strong driving experience
· Practical, hands-on, and proactive approach to work
· Experience in maintenance, property services, facilities, driving, or a similar field
· Comfortable handling dogs and assisting with pet care
· Able to work independently and use initiative
· Flexible and adaptable with changing priorities
· Physically fit and capable of carrying out practical tasks
· Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet
· Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
· Right to work in the UK
· Excellent checkable references
