Overview
We are seeking an experienced Wet Sprayer to join our dynamic team under taking the paint processing of external and internal signage. We paint shop fascia panels, 3D lettering and internal signage. This role is vital in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and finish.
As a Wet Sprayer, you will be required for mix up the paints from our internal software system carefully and accurately and responsible for painting various materials such as acrylic and metal.
There will be preparation required when not wet painting, this will involve using orbital sanders and preparation processes ready for powder coating.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, or priming as necessary.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, checking for defects or inconsistencies.
- Maintain and clean equipment and work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure daily targets are achieved.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively during the coating process.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimise risks associated with chemical exposure and equipment operation.
Experience
- Previous experience in wet painting is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Background in warehouse operations or fabrication processes is beneficial.
- Eye for detail, particularly in painting and finishing techniques.
