Road Marking Operative – Immediate Start Available

We are currently recruiting multiple Road Marking Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced surfacing solutions business. This is a fantastic temp-perm opportunity with a well-established and growing company offering long-term progression and regular work away opportunities.
This role would suit someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work, travelling across the UK with the team, staying away during the week, and working in a close-knit environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out road marking works including lining, symbols, and surface treatments on highways, car parks, and private sites
- Operate specialist road marking equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Prepare surfaces prior to marking including cleaning and surface preparation
- Load and unload materials, ensuring safe handling and storage
- Follow site plans and instructions to deliver accurate markings
- Work in line with health & safety regulations
- Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Travel to various job sites across the UK and work away when required
- Work closely with teammates to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard
Requirements
- Previous experience in road marking, highways maintenance, construction, or a similar hands-on role preferred but not essential
- Full UK driving licence essential
- CSCS card (desirable)
- Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor manual work
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Happy to travel and stay away during the week when required
- Flexible approach to working hours, including nights and weekends
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team environment
