Overview
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Occasional Night Manager to join our team on a flexible basis. This role is essential for covering holiday absences, sickness, and other short-term needs during night shifts. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service in a dynamic hotel setting.
Duties
- Oversee the hotel operations during night shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
- Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
- Supervise front desk staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with a positive attitude
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security procedures throughout the hotel premises
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any overnight needs or issues
- Maintain detailed shift reports, incident logs, and communication records for accountability
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel industry
- Strong background in guest services and human resources management
- Previous hotel experience is highly desirable, especially in night operations
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus for effective communication with diverse guests
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Familiarity with hospitality standards, safety protocols, and customer service excellence
