Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Breakfast Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food is prepared fresh, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure seasonal availability and freshness
- Monitor stock levels and communicate with suppliers for timely replenishment of ingredients
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Manage kitchen equipment, ensuring it is clean, maintained, and operated safely
- Support other kitchen staff as needed during busy periods or special events
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a chef within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as required by the service schedule
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
