Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Reading providing essential assistance and guidance to individuals in our community. You'll be supporting people with:
- Learning disabilities and physical disabilities
- Mental health conditions
- Autism spectrum disorders
Your role will involve:
- Providing compassionate personal care with dignity and respect
- Supporting with daily living skills, household tasks, and medication management
- Facilitating social engagement and community integration
- Helping service users develop coping mechanisms and build resilience
- Encouraging independence and self-determination
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintaining accurate records and care documentation
- Following organizational policies to ensure safeguarding and empowerment

Essential:

- Understanding of person-centred and trauma-informed care approaches
- Knowledge of mental health, learning disabilities, or autism
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care, Care Certificate, etc.)
- Drivers Licence is a must
