Summary
We are seeking a dedicated General Business Manager to lead our team at Right at Home Mid Cheshire in the United Kingdom. Based in the Mid Cheshire area, this role is vital in ensuring the delivery of high-quality homecare services that align with our mission to improve lives.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with Right at Home policies, procedures, values, and regulatory requirements.
Support the Franchisee in the effective management and growth of the business, contributing to the achievement of strategic, Support the Franchisee in the overall management, development, and growth of the business, contributing to the achievement of strategic and operational objectives.
Lead the financial management of the business, including bookkeeping, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, expenditure monitoring, financial reporting, and performance analysis.
Produce accurate management information and business reports, providing insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making and business planning.
Monitor business performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Work collaboratively with the Registered Care Manager to ensure business objectives support the delivery of high-quality care services while maintaining clear accountability for care operations and regulatory compliance.
Support workforce planning and lead recruitment activities to ensure the business attracts and retains high-quality employees.
Oversee HR administration processes, including onboarding, employee records, absence monitoring, performance review processes, and employee engagement initiatives.
Promote a positive workplace culture that reflects Right at Home's values and encourages collaboration, accountability, recognition, and professional development.
Lead business development activities to increase brand awareness, generate new enquiries, and support sustainable business growth.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including commissioners, healthcare professionals, community organisations, networking groups, and the Franchisor.
Support and coordinate local marketing initiatives, community engagement activities, networking opportunities, and promotional campaigns to enhance the organisation's profile and reputation.
Monitor customer, employee, and stakeholder feedback, using insights and data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the business.
Identify opportunities for innovation, service enhancement, and business expansion, including the use of technology and new service offerings.
Ensure effective office systems, processes, and administrative functions are maintained to support the efficient operation of the business.
Contribute to the development and implementation of the business strategy, supporting the achievement of growth, quality, and financial objectives.
Act as a role model for Right at Home's values and behaviours, maintaining high standards of professionalism, integrity, and customer service at all times.

Qualifications & Experience -
Essential
Experience in a management, operational, business support, or leadership role.
Strong understanding of customer-focused service delivery and business performance management.
Experience of managing multiple priorities, systems, and projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
Good financial awareness, including budgeting, reporting, and performance monitoring.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital business systems.

Experience within the health and social care sector.
Understanding of person-centred care and the principles of personalisation.
Qualification in Leadership & Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Experience of recruitment, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
Experience using CRM, recruitment, payroll, scheduling, finance, or business intelligence systems.
