We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Youth Worker to join a supportive school in Oldham. This is a rewarding opportunity to use your skills to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and young people who benefit from positive role models, encouragement, and guidance.
As a Youth Worker within the school, you'll help pupils develop confidence, resilience, emotional wellbeing, and positive behaviours, working closely with teaching staff to create a safe and supportive learning environment.

Build positive relationships with pupils, providing encouragement and mentoring.

Support students with their social, emotional, and behavioural development.

Help manage challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategies.

Promote engagement in learning and encourage attendance and participation.

Work alongside teachers and pastoral teams to support individual student needs.

Act as a positive role model, helping pupils develop confidence and independence.

Experience working with children or young people in schools, youth clubs, sports coaching, mentoring, care, or community settings.
