Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit General Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety tasks while supporting the installation of resin flooring. This role offers an opportunity for individuals interested in learning a trade. Prior experience in flooring or construction is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to develop practical skills within a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Assisting with pre floor preparation, including grinding, removing, and genaral labouring duties.
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely to carry out various tasks
- Supporting install activities such as mixing, organising and material handling.
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and functional.
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe at all times
- Supporting team members with general labouring duties across multiple projects
Qualifications
- Prior experience or knowledge in contract or commercial flooring is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and hand tools is advantageous
- Basic understanding of site work and general maintenance preferred
- Ability to undertake physically demanding tasks in pressure environments
- Good organisational skills with attention to safety procedures
- Willingness to learn new skills and work effectively as part of a team.
- Contracts are undertaken nationwide so candidate must be able to drive and posses full uk driving license.
Pay: From £125.00 per day
