CleanTech People are recruiting for three Employee Services Assistants to join a busy HR and Payroll team, providing accurate and timely administrative support across a range of employee services.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator, Payroll Administrator or Employee Services professional, although candidates with a strong general administration background and the ability to quickly learn HR/payroll processes will also be considered.
You will provide day-to-day administrative support across HR and payroll processes, ensuring employee information is accurate, confidential and processed in line with organisational procedures.
The role will involve working with HR/payroll systems, maintaining employee records, preparing documentation, responding to enquiries and supporting payroll-related calculations and processes.
Provide timely and accurate HR and payroll administration.
Maintain accurate employee records across manual and electronic systems.
Prepare HR/payroll correspondence and contractual documentation.
Respond to enquiries from employees, managers and colleagues.
Retrieve and summarise HR/payroll data to support enquiries and reporting.
Assist with payment calculations and payroll-related processes.
Ensure employee information is accurate and maintained in accordance with Data Protection requirements.
Handle confidential and sensitive employee information appropriately.
Ensure HR/payroll notifications and documentation are correctly processed and authorised.
Support colleagues with routine and unexpected administrative tasks.
Assist with maintaining and improving HR/payroll procedures and processes.
Work effectively with colleagues across the wider People Management service.
Prioritise competing demands while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
We are looking for candidates with:
Previous experience in HR, payroll, employee services or administration.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Confidence working with computerised systems and databases.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
A flexible approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Good customer service skills and a professional, diplomatic manner.
Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
Experience working within a busy HR/payroll environment.
Knowledge of employment terms and conditions.
Experience using HR or payroll systems.
CIPD Level 3 or CIPP qualification.
Relevant administration qualification or equivalent experience.
Welsh language skills.
£13.69 per hour PAYE
37 hours per week
