As CFC continues to scale, we are seeking an PMO Analyst to support the effective governance, oversight, and delivery of a growing portfolio of strategic change initiatives. The role will help embed consistent delivery frameworks, portfolio controls, reporting standards, and best practices across projects and programmes.
Working closely with the PMO Lead and Project Managers, the PMO Analyst will play a key role in ensuring portfolio information is accurate, governance processes are effective, and delivery teams are supported to achieve successful outcomes. The role requires strong analytical and operational rigour, attention to detail, and the ability to build positive working relationships across a dynamic and fast-growing organisation.
-
Support the PMO Lead to maintain and improve CFC’s project, programme and portfolio governance framework.
- Run core PMO processes such as stage gates, approvals and controls, making sure projects follow agreed standards, templates and reporting.
- Maintain portfolio RAID logs and other controls, calling out key risks, issues and delivery concerns early.
- Prepare clear, timely portfolio reports and dashboards that give leaders confidence in progress, benefits and delivery risk.
- Bring together project updates into a single, reliable view of portfolio performance for senior leadership and governance forums.
- Own and improve our use of PMO tools (for example SharePoint, Microsoft Lists and Power BI) so portfolio data stays accurate and useful.
- Keep portfolio documentation organised, up to date and easy for project teams and stakeholders to find.
- Coordinate assurance reviews, health checks and stage-gate readiness so initiatives are set up for successful delivery.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Business Analysts to strengthen planning, reporting quality and use of PMO standards.
- Create clear, concise packs and materials for steering committees and other governance forums.
- Spot and help deliver improvements to PMO processes, reporting and ways of working as CFC continues to grow.
- Support resource and capacity planning, demand analysis, portfolio financials and benefits tracking to inform investment decisions.
-
Experience working in a PMO, project support or project delivery role, ideally across a portfolio of change initiatives.
- Good understanding of project and programme management methods and governance (for example stage gates, RAID management, status reporting).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, spot trends and present clear insights and recommendations.
- Confident using tools such as Excel, SharePoint and Microsoft Lists; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on data quality, consistency and completeness.
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and building positive relationships across business and technology teams.
- Proactive, curious and keen to improve how things are done, with a continuous improvement mindset.
