ROLE: Family Paralegal
LOCATION: Northampton
SALARY: Competitive based on experience
HOURS: 9am – 5.15pm Monday to Friday

We are looking for a Family Paralegal to join our highly regarded Family team in Northampton.
Working closely with experienced family lawyers, you will support a broad range of matters including children's proceedings, divorce, financial remedy work, injunction applications and Legal Aid cases. You will play an important role in progressing files, supporting fee earners and providing thoughtful, professional client care during sensitive and often challenging times.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting fee earners with the day-to-day progression of family law matters

Liaising with clients, courts, barristers and external agencies

Preparing correspondence, court bundles and legal documents

Assisting with Legal Aid applications and certificate management

Drafting applications, witness statements and other documents under supervision

Managing diaries, appointments and file reviews

Attending court where required

Maintaining files to a high standard and supporting excellent client care
About you
You will be organised, empathetic and detail-focused, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. You will be confident supporting vulnerable clients professionally and keen to learn in a busy family law environment.
