About the role
The Maconomy ERP Cloud Solutions Architect will specialise in core finance, project management, shared service centre, and process automation solutions. You will collaborate with finance partners to understand our needs and translate them into, scalable solutions using Maconomy ERP Cloud. You will define the architecture, creating solutions that combine architecture with data-driven automation and AI-enabled processes to ensure that financial operations are streamlined and optimised.
Your consulting experience will allow you to lead value identification, realisation, and business case development. Moreover, it will ensure that we align projects with our goals and shows clear return on investment.
You will report to our Lead Architect.
Responsibilities
Strategic Advice: uses consulting experience to assess client needs and advise on best practices. This leads to the development of technology roadmaps that support our goals. These roadmaps focus on finance operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Project and Portfolio Management, Enterprise Performance Management, and Financial Reporting.
Business Case: work with finance leaders to identify and measure value, create and validate business cases, and present return analyses. Ensure that proposed solutions deliver measurable financial and operational improvements.
Engagement: collaborates with finance teams, global process owners, IT departments, and other partners. This collaboration enables gathering requirements, creating solution designs, and delivering technology solutions that are aligned with our needs and regulatory requirements.
Solution Architecture: design, implement, and lead Maconomy Cloud Finance-based financial solutions that align with our finance and business strategy. Develop architectures that integrate finance processes with Maconomy ERP Cloud applications.
Technology Leadership: provide strategic oversight and hands-on guidance throughout the entire solution lifecycle—from requirement gathering, architecture design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment.
Value Realization: manage post-implementation reviews to ensure value realization, and provide ongoing support and strategic input to improve financial processes.
Innovation & Best Practices: stay up to date on the latest Maconomy ERP Cloud capabilities and latest technologies in finance. Evolve solution offerings, and ensure we are using the best technology stack.
Project Management: support project delivery including timelines, budgets, resource planning, and risk management. Lead the execution of major finance transformation projects, ensuring that you deliver them on time and within scope.
Compliance & Governance: ensure all solutions follow compliance, governance, and risk management protocols, especially in regulated industries.
About you
Experience
- 8+ years of experience designing and implementing Maconomy Cloud Finance solutions, specifically in global company with financial shared services.
- Experience in a consulting role, delivering finance technology solutions and advising on best practices.
- Experience with business case creation, value identification, and delivering measurable value.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in Maconomy Financials (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, and Financial Reporting). PPM experience bonus.
- Experience integrating Maconomy with other ERP systems and third-party applications.
- Understanding of cloud technologies and SaaS implementation approaches.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics, Maconomy Digital Assistant (ODA), and Maconomy Autonomous services.
- Experience with Intelligent Automation frameworks — including RPA, AI/ML, NLP, or process mining.
