Job Overview
We’re looking for a creative and confident Social Media Specialist to join our fast-growing brand (Zulekha foods) and lead our content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
This is an in-house, hands-on role for someone who is comfortable being on camera, understands short-form video inside out, and knows how to turn trends into meaningful brand growth. You’ll work closely with the director and have real ownership over our social presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, edit, and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Meta
- Appear on camera to present, narrate, and participate in content where required
- Develop and manage monthly and quarterly content calendars aligned with campaigns
- Film and frame content in-office and on location (occasional travel if needed)
- Monitor social media trends and proactively adapt them to the brand
- Support influencer and creator collaborations (identification, briefing, coordination)
- Assist with paid social content creation and optimisation
- Reporting performance metrics across platforms, analysing what content drives the most reach, engagement.
- Occasionally support administrative or office-based tasks
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience in social media management
- Confident and professional on camera
- Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends, formats, and best practices
- Skilled in mobile videography, framing, and photography
- Proficient in CapCut, Canva, or similar editing tools
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Able to work independently and take creative direction
- Legal right to work in the UK
Nice to Have
Influencer or UGC campaign experience
Basic graphic design or AI editing tools
UK driving licence and access to a car for location shoots
Salary
£13–£14 per hour,
